Cryptozoology

Wikipedia describes cryptozoology as “the search for animals which are considered to be legendary or otherwise nonexistent by mainstream biology.” There’s that word again… mainstream. These legendary animals or ‘cryptids’ may not be mainstream, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t worth investigating. We at Gnorml believe that mysterious animal claims that have received substantial support by eyewitnesses and historical reports may serve to have an impact on our understanding of biology and are worthy content for our readers.
Like our other departments, we aren’t here to document every report of a strange animal. We search our sources for credible reports and studies that seem to be making an impact on the area of study. We will occasionally post reports or videos that, although possibly unsubstantiated, we feel are particularly compelling. But as with any of our posts you should ask questions, investigate further, and make up your own mind.
