SciTech & Singularity

You may not have considered this, buy the number one factor affecting our society at this time is technology. It relates to everything and concerns everything. The quality of the air we breath, the food we eat, and the water we drink are all affected by technology. The ability to treat the sick, entertain us, and shelter us from the elements are are affected by technology. So how could we consider a destination for those seeking Gnorml without including it? We couldn’t.
Science is treated here as the body of study from which technology is derived. We are keeping our eye on developments in science that will determine our future and it is our goal to keep our intellectual readers in the know.
The Singularity a is a strongly related subject to science and technology. It is what you might consider the end result. It’s what happens we our technological advancements occur faster than we can predict them. It’s a time when some say man will have enhanced himself so successfully using much more efficient non-organic elements that we will consider man and machine to have merged. It’s a scary concept from an over-simplistic mashup of parts viewpoint – producing an image something like “the Borg” from Star Trek. But the reality is much more desirable and amazing.
